Scripture Reading:
Proverbs 6
Hebrews 11:1
Psalm 37:23–24
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
— Hebrews 11:1
It’s natural to bring those concerns to God. He invites us to do that. But Scripture reminds us that prayer isn’t only about speaking — it’s also about listening.
We like certainty. We want plans mapped out, outcomes guaranteed, and reassurance before we move forward. But Scripture reminds us that faith does not operate on visibility — it operates on trust. God often calls us to walk before He reveals, to obey before we fully understand, and to move forward while still depending on Him for direction.
Proverbs teaches us that the Lord directs the steps of those who delight in Him. That doesn’t mean the path will always be smooth or predictable. It means that even when we stumble, we are not abandoned. God steadies us. He guides us. He continues His work in us even when we feel unsure.
Faith grows when we choose to walk — not because we have all the answers, but because we trust the One who does.
If you find yourself hesitating today, uncertain about what comes next, remember this: obedience does not require perfect clarity. It requires willingness. God honors the heart that steps forward trusting Him, even when the way feels unfamiliar.
Walk today knowing that every step taken in faith is never wasted.
Closing Prayer
Father, I place my steps in Your hands today.
Help me trust You even when I cannot see what lies ahead.
Strengthen my faith, guide my path, and steady my heart as I walk forward with You.
Amen.
