January 10 — Perspective

Scripture Reading:
Proverbs 10
Hebrews 13:5

“The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the upright.”
— Proverbs 10:29

Regardless of what you have or who you are, circumstances will arise that make you feel insecure. Physical, emotional, financial, or relational pressures can threaten the very things you’ve come to rely on for stability and confidence.

When you measure those challenges against your own strength, it’s no wonder they feel overwhelming.

So pause for a moment and look at what you’re facing from God’s perspective.

Is any situation beyond His wisdom to understand?
Is any challenge beyond His power to overcome?

Of course not.

The One who formed the heavens and the earth is not limited by what limits you. Nothing is too difficult for Him. And not only can He help you — He wants to.

Look to the cross. Jesus gave His life to save you, and Scripture assures us that the Father will never abandon or forsake His children.

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
— Hebrews 13:5

So what is the real issue?

It comes down to trust.

Are you willingly accepting the Father’s help by walking in obedience? Or have you stepped outside His protection, insisting on your own way rather than resting in His?

Friend, there is no safer place than the center of God’s will.

If you have been walking faithfully, rejoice — He is using these challenges to strengthen and mature you. If you’ve drifted, give thanks — because even adversity can be a loving invitation back to Him.

Either way, trust the Lord.

You never lose by placing your faith in the Father. But when you stray from His path, loss is inevitable.
